Shrek’s Adventure! London

To revisit your childhood days, you can head to Shrek’s Adventure! London. Situated at London’s South Bank, this park will take you to the magical Kingdom of far away. This is a theme park featuring one of the most popular cartoon characters, Shrek. With your whole family, you can visit this theme park offering an immersive and interactive walkthrough experience. The park features 10 fairytale-themed shows including Shrek’s Swamp and a mirror maze that you can see, hear and touch. Loved by children, Shrek’s Adventure is surely a great place to travel with kids. When you are visiting the park, I would recommend you to board the Dreamworks Tour Bus for a 4D experience.

Chessington World of Adventures

Located in Greater London, Chessington World of Adventures is a theme park that features many enthralling rides. Considered as one of the popular theme parks of London, Chester World of Adventures is a great destination to plan an outing. The theme park is dotted with numerous adventure rides including Croc Drop, Vampire, Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, Treetop Hoppers and Money Swingers. Giving you a full-fledged jungle vibe, the sprawling land of this place also hosts a zoo and a hotel complex. Visitors can make a reservation at the hotel and tour this diverse park. On my visit to Chessington World of Adventures, I explored the zoo that houses more than 1000 animals including giraffes, lions, tigers and penguins. If you have already planned an outing at this wonderful park in your mind, make sure you visit the Sea Life aquarium that boasts stingrays, sharks and other aquatic creatures.

The London Dungeon

Along with London’s South Bank, there is another theme park in the city known as The London Dungeons. Exhibiting more than 1000 years of scary history of London, this park provides a walk-through experience that can transport you to the medieval era where you began your journey from the dungeons. The park hosts 16 interactive shows featuring theater actors. However, the park only has two rides that guide the tourists through the mysterious and scary part of the city. When I visited this theme park, I had a close shave with Fleet Street barber, Sweeney Todd, which was an exciting experience for me. Since some of the attractions can turn the hearts cold, therefore you must not take children below 12 years to this horror-based theme park.

Legoland Windsor

If legos have been your favourite fun activity as a child, then Legoland Windsor is definitely the right place for you. Established in 1996, Legoland Windsor is a theme park based on the brand Lego. Featuring an awe-inspiring resort, this sprawling park is surrounded by lush greenery. From exploring the lego castle to riding lego-featured rides, there is a humongous number of activities that you can be a part of. I took a sailing ride with the lego pirates and also rode a lego car. Honestly, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. If you plan on taking a trip to London, then you must add Legoland Windsor to your bucket list. Also, do not miss out to witness the lego model of London, which is entirely built with Lego bricks.
