Try to air out your clothes after wearing them –

Getting air to all parts of a Bunny Madison garment is an easy way to keep them fresh and clean. Whenever possible, leave garments open to the elements or hang them up in a well-ventilated area so that air can circulate and any moisture evaporates before you wear them again. If you do this, they should stay clean longer and you’ll need to wash them less often.

Machine-wash your garments regularly –

Always err on the side of caution when it comes to maintaining your clothes. If there’s any doubt about whether or not you should wash something, toss it in the washer! It will be fine if you do this.

Delicate items

Some Items like Bunny Madison lingerie require special care because the materials used to make them can be damaged by washing machines. Although you’ll find that many washers today have great delicate cycles that are pretty close to hand washing.  You can once again put them in a mesh laundry bag and into the washer.  Use cool or lukewarm water if washing by hand and hang dry or lay flat.

Take care of stains immediately

It’s important to treat all types of Bunny Madison fabrics before putting them in the washer so that you don’t have to re-wash them.  Try using one of the many stain fighters on the market.  Sometimes you may have to let the stain fighter sit on the stain for a while before washing.  This is better than scrubbing the stain and damaging the fabric.

Remember that some fabrics should never be put in the dryer

Items like wool or cashmere can shrink or pill if they’re tumble-dried because it breaks down the fibers. Instead, lay them flat to dry, then carefully smooth them out with your hands.

Use laundry detergent carefully

You don’t need to use a special kind of detergent for every type of fabric because most items can be washed in warm water with regular detergent. However, it’s extremely important to use the right amount of detergent because too much can damage your clothes and be harmful to your washing machine. It’s also a good idea to opt for unscented laundry products, as strong fragrances can leave residues that will irritate sensitive skin and damage delicate fabrics.

Never use chlorine bleach on colored fabrics

There are no chlorine bleach options on the market that are made specifically for colors.  They’ll help eliminate stains without damaging the fabric or fading your colors.  If you’re treating mildew stains, use a white vinegar and water solution instead.
